EPCOT Food & Wine… and Music! Festival – Eat to the Beat Concert Series

This past week marked the start of one of the most popular seasons at EPCOT – that’s right, it’s time for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!

But since I’m not a big drinker, this event is really an opportunity to bring together two of my favorite things at the Walt Disney World Resort – food and music!

I love that EPCOT recognizes that live musical entertainment adds to any event (or season)!

And with the Food & Wine Festival, it becomes a plethora of riches to choose from (at least to this pop & rock music fan!) as they bring in different hitmakers from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and more to play shows alternating every few days over the course of a few months in their Eat to the Beat Concert Series!

This year’s lineup (subject as always to change) includes:

September:

David Cook

Wilson Phillips

Christopher Cross

October:

STARSHIP Starring Mickey Thomas

Smash Mouth

The Pointer Sisters

38 Special

Rick Springfield

Sugar Ray

SOS Band

Air Supply

Fuel

Tiffany

Dennis DeYoung

Jo Dee Messina

Everclear

November:

Boyz II Men

Sister Hazel

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Hanson

Maxi Priest

Chaka Khan

Concerts are performed at the America Gardens Theatre. Check your daily Times Guide for the schedule as each act generally plays multiple sets per night. FastPass+ may also be available for these performances.

You can attend any of these shows with regular park admission, however, if you’d like to plus it up, there is the Eat to the Beat Dining Package which allows you to combine a meal at one of more than a dozen EPCOT restaurants with reserved seating to an Eat to the Beat show that same night. Advance dining reservations are recommended for these packages.

But whether you opt to combine eating and enjoying the music or you just go and listen to the bands, it’s another great opportunity to enjoy live entertainment in the park!

Have you gone to see any of the Eat to the Beat concerts? Who was your favorite act to see there?
