Performer Spotlight: Alice @ The Mad T Party

“Shut up and dance with me!”

Alice gets a kick out of Hatter!

Alice gets a kick out of Hatter!

There’s an old Hollywood saying that Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did – only backwards and in high heels. And there is no one at The Mad T Party that expression applies better to than this girl – who can take any groove Hatter throws at her and match him step for step! (Actually, I’ll point out that she’s even been known to out-dance Hatter – especially in her signature solo during the Britney/NSYNC mashup in the former Mad T set list!)

But she really manages to fit well with the performing style of anyone on the T stage as she is so adaptable to respond to whatever anyone else does.

And while I always look forward to her moves (everyone else can just step back when she’s kicking up the choreography!), she’s also personality plus!

She’s a bright spark up there – but she has such a range of reactions and interactions! She’s funny, she’s dramatic, she’s bouncy, she’s serious. Really she’s just completely our theatrical Alice!

But I think what I enjoy about her most is that I can always count on her to give such an all around consistently engaging performance every single time she’s on the stage. You can expect her to always do a good job – singing, dancing, or just playing around with the band. When she’s there, you just know it will be a good show because you get the very strong sense that she won’t settle for anything less! After all – the play’s the thing!

Is she your favorite performer?
