As a happy start to the New Year, I’m pleased to share the news that it looks like the bands will continue to play in Downtown Disney through at least March!
I haven’t seen a confirmed March schedule yet, so there will only be two tentative dates to mark on your calendars for then, but if you’re looking to rock out with some great bands on Rockin’ Wednesdays, here’s who you can check out in January and February (schedule as always subject to change)!

Sets are from 6pm-10pm on the hour and usually run over 30 minutes each. Performances are on the main stage by the ESPN Zone.
For those in the area of Downtown Disney on Tuesday nights, pop folk trio Faultlines will be found in their regular spot by the Wonderground Gallery in January. (I don’t yet have a confirmation beyond that.)
With the construction (destruction?) currently happening at the former Downtown Disney House of Blues location, there is also a glimmer of hope in the announcement for its replacement venue: Splittsville Luxury Lanes bowling alley.
I know, what?! Yes, like its Orlando Disney Springs counterpart, Downtown Disney will be getting a Splittsville location. Fortunately the place seems to be more than just a bowling alley. The announcement by the Disneyland Resort noted that Splittsville “will offer a unique combination of dining, bowling and live entertainment.” Yes, live entertainment! I’m hoping this means an additional opportunity for bands to play – the more live music performances, the better!
If you missed seeing these bands perform in Downtown Disney in 2016, here are a few links to videos I’ve posted on the Mousertainment YouTube Channel:
Will you be checking out any of the live entertainment offerings in Downtown Disney in early 2017? What’s on your “must see” list?
Update 2/28/17: Apparently, Faultlines’ last Tuesday night in Downtown Disney (for now at least) is tonight. Go catch them if you can!
