A royal appearance in the park!
While Disney (and Pixar and Star Wars and Marvel) characters Meet & Greet guests year-round at Disney Parks, there are certain seasons that bring extra surprises.
It may not shock anyone to hear that the Villains come out to play during Halloween Time. Or that other characters appear timed to movie releases. Even Easter has been known to make the bunnies appear!
But a lesser known phenomenon in recent years is the increase of characters appearing at Disneyland Park around Valentine’s Day!
It has become a bit of an unspoken tradition that Disneyland Park brings out some of the princes unannounced to meet guests along with their princesses.
And while some couples meet together regularly – such as Flynn Rider & Rapunzel at Fantasy Faire or Jasmine & Aladdin in either Adventureland or near Snow White’s wishing well in Fantasyland, Valentine’s Day seems to bring out the rarer pairings such as Pocahontas with John Smith, Tiana with Naveen or in the case of my recent visit: Aurora and Phillip!
